I see it all the time - people wandering around aimlessly taking photos but not actually stopping to take in the moment nor the scenery. I find it is particularly true of those preoccupied with taking selfies as they so often turn their back on everything in order to catch the selfie. I think it is a sad activity of the 21st century. But it doesn't have to be like that. In fact, to the contrary, I see so much more these days than I ever did when I wasn't passionate about photography. And the details I see astound me. This is one such example.
